THRIVE

Refuel | Refocus | Reenergize

Do you feel like you are “just surviving”, trying to make it from day to day? Do you feel mentally and physically drained? Are you spiritually stagnant? You are not meant to merely survive; you are meant to THRIVE!

To Thrive is to “develop well, prosper, or flourish. To progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstance.”

You – yes YOU – are created for a purpose. No one can be you. You are unique and have much to offer. You are a difference maker. You are meant to thrive and to help others thrive. If you shrink back and ‘just survive’, no one wins, no one thrives. Despite the circumstances, negative voices, and past failures, you can and will progress. You can and will flourish. You can and will THRIVE!

Dr. Bo and his wife, Jennifer, have a heart to see each person THRIVE in their unique gifting and calling. This is why they have created: Trinity THRIVE.

What is Trinity THRIVE?

The vision of thriving leads to restored minds, healed bodies, and renewed spirits. It allows each person to be encouraged, honored, and loved despite the status or stage of life. It pursues honest and active participation in one’s own health. It conquers fear and doubt. It ignites passion and purpose. It peers into the very heart of God who desires every individual to THRIVE.

Essentially, this vision is a condensed version of Dr. Bo’s book ‘Create a Trinity Lifestyle’. You can buy it on Amazon, Westbow Press, or Barnes and Noble. Read what Tosca Lee, NY Times best selling author had to say about the book:

“The coolest and really the moments that have broken me are the ones where I’ve realized God knows who I am. I saw Dr. Bo while working on my novel, Havah: The Story of Eve. He asked how I was and I broke down. He gave me a Bible verse, this man who had never met me, and said, “You know, God is really pleased with the work you’re doing.” Dr. Bo prayed for me and I knew God cared. In his book, Dr. Bo has created a very whole, organic and integrated approach to health. I so appreciate his spiritual approach to life’s physical issues.”

THRIVE is not a diet or fad

It is a whole life approach that teaches healthy life choices in the midst of everyday life; the good times, the busy times and the difficult times.

It's all about mindset

Let’s be honest, most people know the ‘right answers’ on how to live a healthy lifestyle. The question is “why aren’t they?” We have heard answers ranging from not enough time or money to not enough help or knowledge. This ‘not enough mindset’ causes people to live in a state of constant survival mode. If that mindset is kept long term, individuals will find it difficult to thrive in their mind, body or spirit.

Trinity THRIVE components

Three key words will be an integral part of Trinity THRIVE. They are refuel, refocus and reenergize. They are described in further detail below.

1. Refuel: hydration & food.

Drink water and eat real food. Remember, simple and practical. It does not matter if you follow the ketogenic, Atkin’s, paleo diet, or any other nutritional plan. The common thread is the same: increase water and reduce carbs, sugar, and processed foods. To THRIVE, we must be hydrated and consistently eat foods that offer vitality and anti-inflammatory properties.

2. Refocus: thoughts & habits.

What we think on influences our day to day activities and our outlook on life. It really does matter where our mind is set. “Watch your thoughts; for they become words. Watch your words; for they become actions. Watch your actions; for they become habits. Watch your habits; for they become character. Watch your character for it will become your destiny.” [Unknown]

3. Reenergize: rest & move.

Besides consistent good nutrition (refuel), our bodies need two other consistencies: rest & movement. Rest can be broken down into two other categories: (1) actual sleep and (2) sabbath. Actual sleep is the time you allow the body to rest each day. Sabbath is not a one-day-a-week idea as most people see it. Rather, it is an intentional rhythm to one’s life that creates periods of rest. Many people are not thriving because they are exhausted. Movement can be broken into two other categories: (1) exercise and (2) exploration. Exercise is the time we set aside each week to make our bodies move. Exploration, on the other hand, is the intentional idea that ‘movement is life.’ Exploration leads you to get off the couch and move every day, exploring your home, yard, neighborhood, city and abroad. It is the idea that movement is fun, adventurous and healthy.
